Hot-Wall Retort Furnaces up to 1100 °C
These gas tight retort furnaces are equipped with direct or indirect heating depending on temperature. They are perfectly suited for various heat treatment processes requiring a defined protective or a reaction gas atmosphere with a slight overpressure. These compact models can also be laid out for heat treatment under vacuum up to 600 °C. The furnace chamber consists of a gas tight retort with water cooling around the door to protect the special sealing. With the corresponding safety technology, retort furnaces are also suitable for applications under reaction gases, such as hydrogen or, in combination with the IDB package, for inert debinding or for pyrolysis processes.
Tool Shop Hardening System MHS 17
The MHS 17 hardening system has a modular design and consists of a work platform for the heat treating furnaces, an oil bath for quenching and water bath for cleaning parts. As an option both baths can be delivered incl. heating. The baths are mounted to the left and right of the work platform and have charging baskets in order to induce even cooling of the parts in the bath. All parts may be ordered separately meaning the hardening system can be retrofitted or equipment added individually depending on the materials processed.
The MHS 17 can have an air quenching system added to it for air-hardened steels. This platform has a powerful cooling fan to force cool the parts requiring hardening and also the gas feed annealing bag and holder. A refractory brick base is for placing hot boxes and workpieces on them. The quenching baths can also be fastened onto the forced cooling system.
An additional storage platform can be integrated within the system for holding accessory equipment and/or optional charging accessories.
Forced Convection Chamber Furnaces
Due to their very good temperature uniformity, these forced convection chamber furnaces with air circulation are suitable for processes such as stress relieving, artificial aging, and cooling glass as well as pre-heating glass molds. To burn in release agents in glass molds, to burn in organic pastes or to sterilize laboratory glassware, the forced convection chamber furnaces are equipped with the corresponding passive safety concepts. The modular design of the forced convection chamber furnaces allows them to be adapted with appropriate accessories to suit process requirements.

The MULTUS U3000 combines full 5-axis milling capability with high-performance turning, allowing complex components to be completed in a single set-up. The machine is equipped with twin spindles (2SW) and a lower turret, enabling simultaneous machining operations and significantly improved throughput.
Maximum turning diameter is approximately 650 mm, with a maximum machining length of 1,500 mm, making the platform suitable for a wide range of aerospace, energy, automotive and precision engineering applications. Both main and sub-spindles deliver high torque and speed stability, supporting heavy roughing as well as fine finishing.

The OLIMIN8R is an automatic pressure filter that removes the chips and fines that bypass the chip conveyor during the CNC Machining process. It can be connected to any existing CNC Machine sump with a tank height of 27” or less and coolant volume up to 400 gallons. The OLIMIN8R captures the dirty coolant as it exits the chip conveyor, removes the solids and delivers the clean coolant where most important – near the clean pumps.
It removes the chips and fines before they have a chance to settle onto the bottom of the CNC Machine sump, preventing the larger solids from piling up in the machine sump – creating a chip dam. This reduces sump clean outs and eliminates coolant

The Model 8 series orbital weld heads are designed for fusion (TIG) welding of tube, thin-wall pipe and fittings through the range of 0.25 in. (6 mm) to 6.625in. (168 mm) OD (outside diameter) and wall thicknesses up to 0.160in. (4 mm). The narrow width of these heads makes them ideal for fitting-to-fitting welds and other limited-clearance applications.
The Model 8 series weld heads incorporate a two-sided clamping mechanism - precision machined and designed to compensate for significant diameter variances while ensuring positive clamping force and concentricity. The insert sizes accommodate an extensive range of applications and all Model 8 series weld heads are fitted with water-cooling capability - for heavy wall material welding and/or high duty-cycle requirements.

The highly standardized, modular linear machine is available in two variants - as LM 2000-KT with cam-controlled units in the forming area and as LM 2000-NC with servo-controlled units. The focus of the KT variant is on medium and high batch sizes with few component variants. The machine offers production speeds of up to 500 parts per minute. With cycle rates of up to 250 rpm, the NC variant is perfectly designed for small and medium batch sizes with a high number of variants. The LM machines offer a total of 2,000 mm machining length for cutting tools in the press module and a maximum of five linear tool modules or the new HLT 250 high-performance linear modules in the forming area.

Container Unloading: TAWI’s Groundbreaking Mobile Container Unloader Revolutionises Freight Container Handling!
Northampton, United Kingdom – TAWI, the inventor of the vacuum lift (also known as a vacuum tube lifter), has launched a new, portable vacuum lifter designed to be used inside of any ocean freight or box truck to reduce manual lifting of materials during the loading or unloading process. This solution enables a more flexible workforce by reducing the need to team lift heavy objects while minimizing the opportunity for injury. This is a faster, safer, and easier material handling method compared to individual or team lifting materials by hand.
TAWI's Container Unloader comprises a vacuum lifter integrated with an operator platform and conveyor capable of lifting materials up to 110 lbs (50 kg). With its trigger-style controller, the operator can lift and move products without exerting any lifting force and at a faster rate than when performed manually. The Container Unloader features a patented jib arm for low overhead spaces, capable of horizontally gripping packages or materials to remove them from the top of a container or box truck. The unit is free-standing, completely mobile, and powered by either a 3-phase electrical or an optional battery pack for cordless mobility. Operators can use the remote control to drive the unit and the controls on the control panel. This mobilization allows operators to manoeuvre the Container Unloader in and out of docks and shipping containers and move around your facility. It can be deployed for applications beyond container loading and unloading.
"Many businesses are seeing workforce issues in today's complex economy. This can include locating, training, and retaining qualified material handling employees," states Michael Wooster, UK Country Manager for TAWI. "A vacuum lift reduces this issue of locating human capital by reducing the number of material handlers needed to perform an existing task – especially when team lifting is required. It also opens these heavy lifting applications up to employees not physically capable of manual handling such weights, as the lift does the lifting for the operator – all the operator needs to be able to do is squeeze the control handle.
