Having served 17 years in the Royal Tank Regiment, James returned from his last tour of Afghanistan in 2011, determined to help those whose lives he had seen impacted by military service. From pioneering beginnings in the field of recovery sport in the service charity sector, he has worked hard to promote wider armed forces engagement, collecting government support along the way.
