Abishek Ramesh is Head of Strategy Insights at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult and currently on secondment as Strategy Consultant for the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade, where he contributes directly to shaping the UK’s Industrial Strategy. Over a 15-year career spanning aerospace, defence, and advanced manufacturing, he has worked at the intersection of research, engineering, policy, and commercial delivery through roles at Innovate UK, the Ministry of Defence, and Airbus. A Chartered Engineer with an Aerospace Engineering degree and an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School, he brings deep expertise in driving innovation and technology commercialisation in complex, highly regulated industries.
