Birmingham, UK – MACH 2026 – Mark3D, the UK’s leading supplier of advanced 3D scanning and additive manufacturing solutions, is proud to showcase the newly launched Artec Jet from Artec 3D at MACH 2026.

Designed to redefine large-scale 3D data capture, Artec Jet is a powerful, survey-grade mobile LiDAR scanner that combines high-density sensing with advanced SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping) technology. The result is fast, accurate, and autonomous 3D mapping across environments where traditional scanning methods fall short.

A New Standard in Site-Scale 3D Scanning

Artec Jet enables users to capture expansive environments quickly and with precision, even in GPS-denied or hazardous conditions. Whether deployed by hand, mounted to a vehicle, or integrated with drones, the system delivers consistent, high-quality data across a wide range of applications.

With an accuracy of up to ±10 mm and the ability to detect changes as small as 5 mm, the system is ideally suited for industries including construction, mining, infrastructure, oil & gas, and defence.

Mark3D will be demonstrating how this technology enables UK manufacturers and engineering teams to create accurate digital twins, reduce project lead times, and improve decision-making through better data.

Autonomous Mapping – Unlocking Previously Inaccessible Environments

One of the most transformative features of Artec Jet is its ability to operate autonomously when deployed on a drone. Using AI-powered navigation and SLAM algorithms, the system can independently map complex environments while avoiding obstacles and maintaining stable positioning.

This opens up entirely new possibilities for safely scanning hazardous or confined environments such as tunnels, unstable structures, and industrial sites, without putting personnel at risk.

Versatility Without Compromise

Artec Jet offers seven deployment modes, including handheld, backpack, drone-mounted, and vehicle-based configurations. This flexibility allows users to adapt the technology to virtually any project requirement, replacing multiple traditional systems with a single, scalable solution.

Built for real-world use, the device is lightweight (1.57 kg), IP65-rated for dust and water resistance, and capable of operating in temperatures from -10°C to 45°C.

From Capture to Insight with Artec Twins

Alongside the hardware, Artec 3D has introduced Artec Twins, a powerful new software platform designed to process and visualise large-scale 3D datasets.

The platform enables users to transform raw LiDAR data into actionable insights, supporting workflows such as BIM, inspection, volumetric analysis, and digital twin creation.

Completing the Artec Ecosystem

The introduction of Artec Jet expands the Artec ecosystem, enabling seamless workflows from full-site capture through to component-level inspection. Combined with systems like the Artec Ray II and Artec Leo, users now have a complete solution for capturing anything from entire facilities down to fine engineering detail.
