CREAT3D, a UK-based engineering company specialising in Additive Manufacturing (AM) solutions, has announced a new partnership with AM-Flow to deliver advanced post-processing automation systems to manufacturers and AM service providers across the UK.

The partnership will be showcased at MACH 2026, where visitors to the CREAT3D stand will be able to explore how automation is transforming workflows beyond the point of production.

Addressing the next manufacturing bottleneck
Additive Manufacturing has evolved rapidly, from prototyping through to tooling and low-volume production of end-use parts across industries including robotics, defence, consumer products and industrial manufacturing.

While advances in AM hardware, software and materials have enabled this growth, a new challenge has emerged: what happens after the part is made.

For many organisations, processes such as identifying, inspecting, sorting and packing parts remain largely manual. As production volumes increase, these stages often become the limiting factor in achieving true scalability.

Automating what happens after production
Through its partnership with AM-Flow, CREAT3D is bringing a modular automation approach to this challenge — enabling manufacturers to streamline and scale post-processing workflows.

AM-Flow systems automate the handling of parts after production, combining speed, accuracy and full traceability.

The solution is built around a series of modular technologies — including AM-Feed, AM-Vision, AM-Quality, AM-Sort and AM-Bagging — which together enable automated identification, inspection, sorting and packing within a connected workflow.

These systems can be deployed individually or as a fully integrated solution, and can be integrated with existing production environments, ERP and MES systems.

Supporting UK manufacturers to scale
The partnership reflects a broader shift within manufacturing — from focusing solely on how parts are produced, to how they are managed and delivered efficiently at scale.

By introducing automation into post-processing workflows, manufacturers can:
• Increase throughput without additional labour
• Improve consistency and quality
• Enhance traceability
• Reduce errors and operational complexity

While developed for Additive Manufacturing, these systems also apply to traditional manufacturing using subtractive processes such as injection moulding, CNC machining and casting.

Explore AM-Flow at MACH 2026
Visitors to the CREAT3D stand at MACH 2026 (Stand 17-420) will be able to learn more about AM-Flow technology, with video demonstrations and application insights available throughout the event.

CREAT3D’s team will be on hand to discuss how automation can be applied to specific workflows and production challenges.

About CREAT3D
CREAT3D supports UK manufacturers with the adoption of Additive Manufacturing technologies, whether through adopting 3D printers in-house, outsourcing 3D printing as a service, or a combination.

CREAT3D offer 3D printers, 3D printing and engineering services including AM consultancy, applications engineering, CAD, 3D scanning, part digitalisation, training, technical support, maintenance and service programmes and DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing).

Through its partnership with AM-Flow, CREAT3D is extending this support beyond production — enabling customers to implement complete, end-to-end workflows that deliver real, measurable benefits.
