MACH TASK OF THE MONTH | September 2023

Focus | Operations

TaskAccess your Visit Connect Profile and Register Your Staff
Why is it important?Your Visit Profile is where you can find a number of key functions related to both show operations and marketing so it is important you know where it is and are familiar with the it.

Your Visit Profile is where you can:
– Register your staff for exhibitor badges
– Access your unique marketing URL
– Customise your scanning apps and generate QR Codes
– View/Export Leads generated onsite

Detailed guides on all the above will be covered over the coming months but for September we will focus on registering your staff. It is essential that you add your staff in through this system as visitor badges are not valid except during show-open hours.
How to guide/Advice1) Login to you E-Zone profile on the MACH Website
This should be a familiar step by now but the login page is liked below: Login Page   If you cannot find your login details please use the ‘forgot password’ option to be sent a reset email.

2) Access the ‘Staff Badges’ tab on the profile and click the button to login

3) The link will send you to your Visit Profile, navigate to the ‘Team’ tab on the menu
In the ‘Add Staff’ menu you can use the ‘Register Exhibitor’ function to add staff individually but if you have a large number of people it is recommended that you click the ‘Import Staff’ function to add them as a group.

4) Clicking the ‘Import Staff’ option will allow you to download the import template.
The details need to be entered into the ‘Staff’ Tab on the workbook.   It is important that you don’t alter the order or number of the columns on the workbook but only: First Name Last Name Email Must be filled in, all other information is optional.

5) Upload the file and complete the import:
You can send confirmations to your staff through the system so they have the codes to scan and collect their badges onsite.

Please also remember to register for the Exhibitor Information Day as it is a key chance to ask questions and get prepared for the exhibition: https://www.machexhibition.com/exhibitor-information-day/

As always, the team is available on [email protected] if you need our help or advice.

Kind regards,

Nicola

P.S. The exhibitor manual is in its final overhaul and should be available withing the next 2 weeks so watch out for a ‘Heads Up’ email when it is live.
