Here they will receive impartial advice on how to optimise their machining processes and how to deal with real-life machining challenges. The Hub will offer advice on matching the most suitable cutting tool material and insert geometry with the workpiece material to be machined, through to key considerations such as tool paths and cutting data. Visitors can meet and discuss their tooling issues with experts from the AMRC, on-hand to help visitors with the complexities of metal cutting, signposting them to relevant exhibitors in the exhibition.

The Tooling Zone at MACH 2026 is located in Hall 18.
MACH attracts an audience of over 26,000 to meet and network with around 500 exhibitors. Business attributed to the most recent event was well in excess of £200M and 45% of visitors said that MACH is the only exhibition they attend. In addition, exhibitors taking a stand in the Tooling Knowledge Hub are free to have their engineers and sales staff on site at MACH to support their machine tool customers. Tooling on display on other exhibitor stands can be fully badged and, subject to agreement with the exhibitor, tooling packages can be offered for sale.
