MACH 2026 offers a prime opportunity for Master Abrasives to highlight its machine tool portfolio to the UK industrial market. Located on Stand 520 in Hall 6, the company will be showcasing a representation of its extensive range of products.
While Master Abrasives was originally founded on the supply of consumable abrasive products for metal removal and polishing, the company has, in recent years, pursued a strategy focused on delivering a more comprehensive “complete solution for industry.” This has been achieved by developing a robust grinding and finishing machine tool portfolio. The offering now encompasses grinding wheels, dressing systems, grinding and superfinishing machines, coolant nozzles, measurement equipment, and the latest additions to the range: surface grinding machines from Italian manufacturer Rosa Ermando, alongside the high-quality and competitively priced Top-Work tool and cutter grinding machines from Taiwan.
On the stand, visitors will see the PLUTO-18 CNC grinder from Micromatic Grinding Technologies. This compact, high-performance machine has been designed to deliver an economical grinding solution and is ideally suited to the production of small, high-precision components. Capable of both plunge and traverse grinding, visitors can see the PLUTO-18 cycle at the show, with technical specialists available to discuss its performance and application potential. Also featured on the stand will be Micromatic Grinding Technologies’ ECO200 grinding machine.
Master Abrasives, acting as agent for Rosa in the UK and Ireland, hope to display a Rosa surface grinder. Master encourages visitors with particular challenges or general enquiries to arrange appointments and bring components or examples for assessment and solution recommendations.
Supfina’s machinery will also be showcased on the stand, highlighting the extensive range of high-quality equipment offered by the German manufacturer. A Supfina representative will attend the show and will be available to discuss solutions across the company’s broad portfolio, including flat finishing, fine grinding, double disc grinding, superfinishing, and advanced automated systems.
This year for the first time on Master Abrasives’ stand a Top-Work grinding machine will also be displayed. The machine in question is a M40 manual tool grinding machine. The universal cutter & tool grinder can be used for a wide range of grinding works. It features equipped with different optional accessories for specific grinding application according to your demands, achieving the versatile functions with economic benefits.
Complementing the machine tool display, Master Abrasives will exhibit its well-established range of high-precision abrasive grinding wheels under its own MASTER brand, alongside products from partners Molemab and 3M. These are available in conventional, ceramic, and superabrasive formats, addressing requirements from heavy stock removal through to consistent, high-quality finishes. The abrasive offering also includes superfinishing stones, wheels, and tapes (microfilms), ensuring customers receive complete and cost-effective solutions.
Ian Meredith, Applications Engineering Manager and stand manager for Master Abrasives comments: “At MACH this year we are presenting a broader selection of machinery and equipment than ever before, supported by even greater technical expertise. This has led us to secure a larger stand in a prominent position in Hall 6. Our team will be on hand to answer application questions and to arrange full grinding demonstrations at the Master Abrasives showroom.”
Master Abrasives team at MACH is led by Ian Meredith who has many years of experience in a range of applications. Other Master representatives attending include Paul Batson, Managing Director and Andy Carr, Business Development Manager.
Companies involved in grinding are encouraged to meet with the specialists available on the Master Abrasives stand to discuss challenges or objectives related to process improvement. To ensure availability, visitors are advised to book appointments in advance by emailing [email protected] or contacting Ian Meredith, Applications Engineering Manager. Whether the goal is shorter cycle times, improved consistency on sensitive components, or broader grinding and finishing improvements, experts will be available on the stand to provide guidance.
Ian Meredith concludes, “Our applications engineering team will be available throughout MACH to provide technical support. We can deliver a cost-effective, high-productivity solution that combines the right machine, abrasives, coolant nozzles, and dressing systems to achieve a high-quality finished component.”
