Using the Royal Navy as a case study, we will examine the growing national skills shortage in STEM, impacting our economy and future innovation. An insight into the RN’s youth engagement efforts, including cadets, outreach teams, and partnerships with schools and communities. All designed to increase accessibility, social mobility and interest in STEM fields. We will also emphasise the shared societal responsibility in supporting young people, calling for greater inclusivity and encouragement from educators, families and industry.
